The dare…favorite clothing

Once again Mona has come up with an interesting dare.

Ah, summer clothing. It doesn’t last as long as winter clothing due to being laundered more often. Ya know, sweat, ice cream and watermelon drips.

Anyway, in summer I wear a lot of white. Looks good on me. Bright white, not cream, ivory, beige. I’m so not a beige person. This is a favorite tunic. Sleeveless, made of cotton knit, with embellishment around the neckline. And bright white.

In that cosmetic bag I carry just the essentials too: comb, mirror, some moist towelettes, tweezers, lipstick and lipgloss and my favorite beauty tool, an eyelash curler.

The rules: post a portrait of yourself, either a photo taken in the mirror or by another, a painting, whatever.

This was taken in my hotel room in Chicago. I  wondered why people always take photos of themselves in the bathroom. Then it dawned on me...there's a mirror in the bathroom.
